If you're looking for a good pen for everyday writing and you're not looking to spend a lot of money, I think that you will be happy with the lamy safari fountain pen. If you're looking for a pen to last a lifetime and you want to feel like you're writing with a valuable, antique pen, I don't think that the Safari is the right pen for you.
